drop leaf allows seating for 8. this set is deep cherry wood with oak table top and chair sets. china cabinet is lighted on both sides has 3 drawers and two side cabinets. includes oak lazy susan. i love the set but it is no longer functional with just two of us remaining in the house. you are welcome to come and see for yourself. measurements avalable,if interested let me know.
