From: James L. MoffaRe: my 1959 Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500 Hardtop Retractable Skyliner. Original Mileage: 85,175I have the original owner's manual, and "Authorized Ford Dealer's Service Policy". It was issued by Pierce Motor Company in Spartanburg, SC. Delivery date 4-9-59. It needs new upholstery (there are no major holes...but, it's fading), including the lining of the top needs to be redone. The retractable top works….but, the top needs some minor mechanical alignment work and new rubber seals. Very minor rust areas. Obviously some of the knobs need to be either replaced. The unit serial number is H9FW238629, and it's vehicle code number is 51A-DE2-34-26C-45. Its number speaks for itself. The H means, it's a 352 engine, the 9 means date manufactured is 1959, F stands for Dearborn's assembly plant.Will also swap trade for equilvalent value. This is a great restoration vehicle.
